Sin in one area of our life always makes us more susceptible to sin in other areas.
Sexual Immorality (porneia) from which we get our word pornography and refers to any illicit sexual activity.

Polygamy (Gen. 2:1-8; Matt. 19:4-6; 1 Tim. 3:2,21)

Incest (Lev. 18,20,27; 1 Cor. 5)
Homosexuality (Lev. 18:22; Rom. 1:26-27; 1 Cor. 6:9)

Deliver (paradidomi) is a strong term indicating the judicial act of sentencing, of handing over for punishment.
Discipline sometimes must be severe because the consequences of not disciplining are much worse.
Sin is spiritual malignancy, and it will not stay isolated for long. Unless removed it will spread its infection until the whole person or fellowship is diseased.
