The Gospels
1. God Created Us to Be with Him.
Without the Breath of God,We are just Dust!
YHWH - EVERY BREATH Designed to WORSHIP GOD!
We have to be LIFE GIVING with our Breath!
Every Idle breathe is robbing God from getting Glory!
2. OUR SINS SEPARATE US FROM GOD.
This is the first time we hid ourselves from each other!
This is the first time we hid from God.
Sin spread to all humanity like poison in a well.
We have to understand how great the Chasm!
We are broken, blind, and in need of a Savior!
3. Sins cannot be removed by good deeds!
JESUS CROSSED THE GAP!
IF YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND THE DEPTH OF YOUR SIN. YOU WON’T UNDERSTAND THE WONDER OF HIS GRACE!
LET’S GET LOST IN THE WONDER OF THE CROSS & HIS IMMEASURABLE GRACE AND SHARE THE GOSPEL.
Talk It Over:
Raising Boldness to Share the Gospel
Head (Understanding the Message)
1. What stood out to you the most in the stories Pastor Sean shared about Youth Group?
-How does it demonstrate the power of consistent prayer and invitation?
2. Why is it important to recognize that our sins separate us from God?
-How does this understanding deepen our appreciation of God's grace?
3. The message emphasized that "every breath should point to God."
-What does it mean for your witness if your "breath" or words do not align with the message of the Gospel?
Heart (Connecting Personally)
1. Have you ever hesitated to share your faith because you felt unworthy or too sinful?
-How does knowing that Christ died for us "while we were still sinners" change your perspective?
2. Reflect on a time when someone’s words either encouraged or discouraged your faith.
-How can you ensure that your words are "life-giving" to others?
3. Think about the statement, "If your breath smells the same as the world’s, you’re robbing others from the Good News of the Gospel."
-How can you ensure that your life and witness are distinctively pointing others to Jesus?
Hands (Taking Action)
1. The sermon challenges us to get lost in the wonder of the Cross and share Christ.
-What practical steps can you take this week to immerse yourself in the Gospel (e.g., reading the Bible daily, prayer, worship)?
2. How can you be more intentional in sharing the Gospel with those around you?
-Is there someone specific you feel called to share with or invite to church?
3. Commit to spending 15 minutes a day reading the Gospels for the next month.
-How can this practice help you overcome fear or hesitation in sharing your faith?
