Read John 4:1-26
Jesus meets this woman at a well in Samaria. Why was this an unlikely place for a Jewish Rabbi?
Why would the Holy Spirit lead us to unlikely places?
Jesus opens the door by asking for water. This is such a simple way to begin the conversation. Why do we tend to overcomplicate things so much?
Jesus did not meet this woman in a synagogue or at an alter...He met her at the well. What does this tell us about meeting people who need Jesus?
What unlikely places might the Spirit lead us to?
Jesus offered her something, living water, that would change her life but He didn’t ask her to change anything specific in that moment. He knew if she followed Him everything would change. Are Christians today good at this in general?
How does meeting people where they are now help us to one day introduce them to Jesus?
