SPIRIT of UNITY: Acts 4:32a
Acts 2:1 tells us that the atmosphere that Holy Spirit fell in was one of unity, they were ALL TOGETHER, in ONE ACCORD.
Acts 2:44 tells us that the early church, freshly filled by the Spirit’s power, met TOGETHER regularly and shared money and share meals, they were united.
United in heart: they shared a passion to live for Jesus.
United in mind: they shared a passion to know Jesus.
1 Peter 3:8-9, “8 Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude. 9 Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will grant you his blessing.”
SPIRIT of GENEROSITY: Acts 4:32b-35
Job 1:21, “He said, “I came naked from my mother’s womb, and I will be naked when I leave. The LORD gave me what I had, and the LORD has taken it away. Praise the name of the LORD!”
Their generosity was simply an expression of their love and their unity of mind and heart in the one body of Christ.
“Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith.” -Galatians 6:10
- We live with loose hands - we don’t hold on tightly to anything.
- We live within our means - we don’t overextend ourselves in such a way that we don’t have margin to give.
- We not only pray for opportunities, we look for them.

- We not only pray for opportunities, we look for them.
SPIRIT of ENCOURAGEMENT: Acts 4:36-37
Galatians 6:7b-9, “You will always harvest what you plant. 8 Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. 9 So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just
the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”
