1. You should go to church.
2. If God speaks, take care of it now.
“A person cannot stand as a fraud before Jesus Christ for one second. The Holy Spirit makes us sensitive to things we never thought of before. Never object to the Holy Spirit’s sensitivity in you when He is educating you down to the smallest point; never discard a conviction.” (Studies in the Sermon on the Mount, Chambers, 26)
“I must humble myself, make a fool of myself as it were, and let the other person gloat over me if necessary, as long as I have done everything I can to remove the barrier and the obstacle.” (Studies in the Sermon on the Mount, Lloyd-Jones, 202)
“When Jesus says, ‘If you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember,’ He is not saying, ‘there you rake up some small thing by a morbid sensitivity.’ (That is where Satan gets hold of immature Christians and makes them hyper-conscientious) (Studies in the Sermon on the Mount, Chambers, 27)
3. Come back to church.
4. Settle issues before legal ramifications.
5. You could be put into prison.
