What is blessing?

Blessing is an invitation to embody the likeness of Jesus through complete trust and dependence on Him.

Trust and depend on Him.

How do I become blessed?

1. Blessed are the poor in Spirit

Importance of recognizing our need for God.

Apart from Jesus, even the most resemblance of success is failure.

Dependence on God's provision and comfort.

2. Blessed are the meek

True meaning of meekness: strength under control, willing to submit.

Jesus' example of submission to the Father's will.

3. Blessings are not material possessions

Blessing is not about things, but about becoming like Jesus.

4. Encouragement

Prioritize knowing and becoming like Jesus over chasing material effort.

We cannot prioritize the comfort that things can bring us on earth so much that we miss out on becoming like Jesus.

If you desire to be happy, you desire a good thing. But you don't look for happy places where the world looks. Nothing that comes from such places can bring you happiness that lasts.
