1) Recognize that the Lord is God
These verses are foundational scriptures.
If we are Christians, then we have to believe that the Lord is God and we are His people.
2) Recognize the need to abide in the Lord
Abide means to remain, continue, and stay.
That carries weight and a level of reverence that should compel us to obey Him.
Your environment matters! Who you hang out with matters and impacts your life!
Read your bible!
Listen to praise and worship music.
Fellowship with other believers.
All of this helps you to know the voice of God.
How do you abide?
God is intentional!
God gives us signs to show us that he is there with us every step of the way.
We must trust and surrender to His plan for our lives.
3) Recognize life will have its trials and tribulations
Even in the midst of chaos, God is our ever-present help!
4) Recognize that there is a calling on our lives!
Faith produces perseverance.
How many of us can truly say that we are willing to die for the calling that God has placed on our lives?
Take the necessary steps. Every step you take with Him, gets you closer to the finish line!
