Focus this Sunday:
This Sunday we continue a summer sermon series looking at the topic of comfort. We will be tracking with Brett McCracken's book called Uncomfortable: The Awkward and Essential Challenge of Christian Community. Our culture calls us to comfort... and to avoid being uncomfortable at all costs. So what do we do with the reality that living into being part of God's people can be uncomfortable? What does God have to say to you in this?

Reflection Questions: (Privately or invite a few friends to discuss!)
1. What is one thing that stood out to you from this week’s message?
2. How would you define pluralism? How does our society push this idea that all roads lead everywhere? Does it work?
3. Why might it be important for people to pursue distinguishably different groups? The fact that we can tell they are firemen or farmers or any group by how they act... how they live.
4. Have you noticed how pursuing holiness has become offensive to our world? Why do you think that is true? Is it okay to be different?
5. How do we get past our own feelings in holiness? Are there some habits we can lean into in our lives to help us grow into holiness?
6. How can we encourage and pray for each other in this?
