The Apostle Paul writes about how God strengthens and supports, encourages and equips Christians with what he calls “the Fruit of the Spirit.”
The first and foremost Fruit of the Spirit is Love.
The second Fruit of the Spirit is Joy.
The third Fruit of the Spirit is Peace.
The fourth Fruit of the Spirit is Patience.
The fifth Fruit of the Spirit is Kindness.
The sixth Fruit of the Spirit is Goodness.
The seventh Fruit of the Spirit is Faithfulness.
The eighth Fruit of the Spirit is Gentleness.
The ninth Fruit of the Spirit is Self-Control.
The ABCDEs of Accepting Christ and Living a Christ-centered Life
are:
A – Admit we are sinners (overly selfish) in need of a Savior.
Romans 3:23
B - Believe in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. John 3:16
C - Commit to burying our self-centered life and beginning a
Christ-centered life symbolized by Baptism. Acts 2:38
D - Devote ourselves to disciplined discipleship that involves
at least daily prayer and Bible reading, weekly worship and
fellowship, regular sharing and serving. Acts 2:42-47
