http://www.onelifeknox.com/giveDaily needs rely on a daily relationship and lead to daily blessings.
Needs are reminders of who meets needs.
Take needs to the Father one day at a time.
Redefine need.
Hoarding does no good!
START TALKING
What is an example of a daily need that drives you to a daily relationship? How does it also provide opportunity for daily blessing?

START THINKING
Read Exodus 16:1-31.
How would you retell this passage in your own words to someone else who had never heard it before?
What is the main idea or main principle that you take away from this passage?
What happened when the people didn't trust God for their daily need and tried to store up more?
Why do you think they tried to keep more than God told them to keep for themselves? What do you think that tells us about where their trust really was?

START SHARING
How are you like the Israelites in Exodus 16?
How or when have you experienced God giving you just enough for the day and providing exactly what you need, no more and no less?
Read Matthew 6:11. How does having an understanding of "manna" and "daily bread" help you better understand this?
What and how are you tempted to hoard and keep more for yourself? What does that say about who you are really trusting to provide for you?

START DOING
How can you bring a daily need to your Father in a way that worships Him as the one who provides and gives?
How can you be more generous if you redefine what "need" really is? Re-read Exodus 16:4. Now read Malachi 3:10. How do these verses seem to bring a better understanding to each other, and what do you sense the Spirit telling you to do about it?
How can you tell your testimony with these passages above to someone else who is far from God or struggling with their own faith? Think about telling that story with these three elements: a time that you weren't trusting God for daily bread (before), then what led you to trust Him (Jesus), and how has your life and faith been different since then (after)?

START PRAYING
Each person share your one need for today. Then pray together, starting with acknowledging God as the Father who provides every good and perfect gift! Then pray for each person's daily need. Ask God to use that need to drive each of us to Him on a daily basis for the sake of our relationship with Him and that we will experience daily blessings as a result. Pray that we will each have opportunities to share stories with others of God as a Father who provides for our daily needs, and how that has led to a daily relationship and daily blessings!
