Ps 92:12-15
The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, proclaiming, “The Lord is upright; he is my Rock…”
TWO TYPES OF TREES (PEOPLE)
CEDAR = Durable, Attractive, Pleasant aroma
PALMS = Symbolize Triumph and Victory.
YOUR LIFE IS A SEED
1. A seed has potential
2. A seed can only grow if it’s planted
Ps 92:12-15
... planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God.
- “Going to church” isn’t the same as being planted.
- Church is not a place to go; the church is People.
WHEN YOU ARE PLANTED
1. You roots grow deep.
Jer 17:8
They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought...
2. Your roots produce fruit.

WHAT A SEED NEEDS TO GROW AND FLOURISH:
Soil—Your heart.
Light—God’s word is a lamp
Water—Jesus, the living water
Temperature—Fire of the Holy Spirit burning
Time—Best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. Next best is TODAY!
