I. The Good Report
A. For some, the result of their faith was achievement.
B. For others, the result of faith was agony.
C. Everyone who lived by faith received a good report.
II. The Ultimate Promise
A. The Old Testament saints looked forward in faith to the Christ’s coming
B. As New Testament believers, we look back in faith Christ’s finished work
C. We Also look forward to the perfection of our faith
III. The Race Ahead
A. We should be encouraged by the examples of faith but fix our eyes on Jesus.
B. Evaluate what is best in light of eternity and seek to eliminate sin.
C. Endure faith’s challenges and seek to bring God glory.
