When Life Shifts, God Remains - Doné van Eyk
Everything changes in life. Change brings its own doubts, fears, and anxiety. Many people place their trust and their hope on earthly possessions or relationships which brings temporary comfort. Unfortunately, when life shifts, these temporary support pillars often come crashing down creating even more anxiety, stress, fear, and all too often, pain. Change is not the only constant in life, it might happen consistently, but God is the only constant. If we place our trust and hope in God, we will be able to stand firm when life-changing events shake our inner being.

1. The uncertainty of change

2. The fading anchor
- Many individuals place their trust in earthly possessions or relationships with the illusion that they are in control. The reality is that if life shifts and change happens, it causes more anxiety, fear, stress and too often pain.

Remember:
Life is full of change, but when we place our trust in God, we have a foundation that remains constant, even when the world around us seems to be shifting.
