New Sermon Series
Today, we will begin a four-week series exploring the story of Esther. By understanding the book’s backstory and context, we can see that Esther is not a fairy tale but an understanding of how God can work behind the scenes with imperfect people in a hostile environment.

Day of Worship and Prayer - Wednesday, May 22nd
Each month, members of over ten churches gather for a day of worship and prayer called Seek, Unite, Revive. This month, it will be hosted here at SonLight. Come join us for a come-and-go type of service from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Each hour is led by a different community worship leader and prayer leader. The SonLight Worship Band will lead from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. to close the day, so come join us for a time of worship and prayer.

Summer Celebration & Picnic - Sunday, June 2nd
Join us directly after service on Sunday, June 2nd, for a Summer Celebration & Picnic here at the church. We will grill hamburgers and hotdogs, play fun games, and have a huge bounce house!! This event is always so much fun for everyone; you won't want to miss it. Please sign up at the big board in the Atrium if you would like to bring something to share, like chips or treats for the kids, and if you are willing to help supervise, coordinate games, or help with clean up. Promotion Sunday - June 9th
SonLight plans to realign the children's, students, and youth ministries beginning Sunday, June 9th. We are excited to make this transition so that we can better serve our kids every Sunday! Please refer to the handout included in the bulletin for details, or it can be picked up at the kid's check-in counter. Moving to a new class can be both intimidating and exciting. Feel free to show your child their new environment before June 9th. If you have any questions, please contact one of the Ignite volunteers or church staff.

SAVE THE DATE for the next Baptism Sunday
On Sunday, April 28th, our church family celebrated three lives transformed by God's grace and love. SonLight will schedule Baptisms again on Sunday, June 23rd. If you are interested in talking more about that, please contact Pastor Tony.

Children/Student & Youth Ministries
All children/students/youth meet in the Worship Center on Sunday mornings and will be dismissed to their classrooms except for the FUSE Youth Group.

FUSE Youth Group: 8th-12th grade students meet Sunday evenings in the FUSE Box, 6:30–8 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. We are currently going through "Do you believe?" a study on what we believe in the faith. Please contact Pastor Aaron if you have any questions.
