We are continuing our Holy Half Truths series. This week we are discussing another phrase that many Christians say: "God spoke to me". It is absolutely true that God does speak. He communicates, leads, and directs us. But it is not always in ways we imagine.

Ice Breaker: What comes to your mind when you think about God speaking to us?

It is important to remember that while God certainly does speak to us, it is not always based on a feeling or a sign. The way God speaks is unique to every individual. Read Hebrews 1:1-2. How has Jesus made a difference in the way God speaks to us?

Pastor Jonathan said, “What Jesus has already said to do trumps what you feel/think God has said to you”. What does this mean?

Pastor Jonathan listed several ways that God speaks to us today. How have you witnessed God using these avenues to lead His followers? How do each of these point back to Jesus?
