Home Group/Study Questions
These questions are provided for your further study and application of today’s sermon. Thoughtfully writing out the answers to these questions will help to drive home the truths we are learning.
1. Was there any passage of scripture or statement in the message today that was particularly meaningful or applicable to you?
2. Read Ephesians 4:32. These words are easy to read, but they require the power of God to obey. Mercy is both kindness and forgiveness. How does remembering that God forgave you help you to be more merciful?
3. Read Ephesians 5:8-10. How do you learn what pleases the Lord? How do you respond when what pleases the Lord doesn’t please you?
4. Read Romans 12:14-21. (Now read it again, slow and thoughtful.) Is this an ideal that we should strive for but never reach? Or, is it possible to become the people who live this way? How?
5. Read John 15:18-21. How does knowing what to expect from the world prepare us for the rejection we will face when we follow Jesus? How does being a part of a church help you to stand strong in the face of rejection?

Giving Online
Giving cheerfully and sacrificially of our finances is part of our worship. (2 Corinthians 9:7; Proverbs 3:9; Malachi 3:10)
We thank those who have helped us fulfill our mission and vision, and we ask you to pray that all of the giving to West End Baptist Church would be used to glorify God in carrying out His will as Scripture instructs and the Holy Spirit leads.
