Grace is God doing for us what we do not deserve, mercy is His not doing to us what we do deserve, and peace is God giving us what we need based upon His grace and mercy. The word order is significant. God’s grace is always prior. Mercy and peace flow from it.

The Mathematics of Cults

Addition (+):
They add an extra-biblical source of authority by prophet, pen, or professor.

‌Subtraction (-):
They subtract from the person and work of Jesus Christ the Son of God.

‌Division (÷):
They divide our allegiance from God through Christ alone to others.

‌Multiplication (x):
They multiply requirements for salvation. All advocate some form of works salvation.
