The second element of spiritual warfare focuses on being awake, alert, and aware. It teaches us the importance of spiritual and situational awareness.
To Be Vigilant means to stand watch and stay awake. Prayer keeps us spiritually awake and in touch with what is happening in the spirit realm.
To watch and pray means everything we see is filtered through prayer and everything we hear in prayer is filtered through the Word of God.
To Be Vigilant means to be cautious; impulsive decisions create demonic opportunities.
To Be Vigilant means to be active and ready. The best way to be ready for the enemy’s attacks is to be spiritually engaged and ready for Jesus’s return.
