John 4:1-26

1. Jesus is ______________________________.
We must _______________________________ out of love for Jesus and people.
2. Jesus is __________________________________.
We must tell others _________________________________.
3. Jesus ____________________________________.
We must talk about _______________________________________.

Home Group/Study Questions
These questions are provided for your further study and application of today’s sermon. Thoughtfully writing out the answers to these questions will help to drive home the truths we are learning.

1. Was there any passage of scripture or statement in the message today that was particularly meaningful or applicable to you?

2. Read the text of Jesus’ conversation with the Samaritan woman in John 4:1-26. Knowing something about the culture of the day and the circumstances of the woman’s life, what are the amazing aspects of their interaction?

3. Read Acts 10:25-29. What was the attitude Peter had to repent of, and what was the lesson God taught him? Who is the “Cornelius” in your life?

4. What is the danger in presenting the blessings Jesus gives freely without addressing sin and repentance when attempting to share the gospel?

5. Jesus IS the good news. Read 1 Peter 2:9-10. How do you consistently “proclaim the excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light”?

Giving Online

Giving cheerfully and sacrificially of our finances is part of our worship. (2 Corinthians 9:7; Proverbs 3:9; Malachi 3:10) We thank those who have helped us fulfill our mission and vision, and we ask you to pray that all of the giving to West End Baptist Church would be used to glorify God in carrying out His will as Scripture instructs and the Holy Spirit leads.
