Join us as we step into the first Question and Response event at Red Hills Church, where we will intentionally lean into difficult topics at the intersection of faith and culture. This event will feature a guest who carries expertise in the chosen topic who will give a talk, and then be interviewed by Pastor Lane. We will then open the floor for anonymous questions to be submitted to the speaker. The goal of this event is to equip our community with tools to effectively and lovingly think about and engage challenging conversations from a Christian worldview. Our first guest is Dr. Gregory Coles. Greg serves as the Senior Research Fellow for The Center for Faith, Sexuality, and Gender as well as an author and speaker. Both he and the organization he works for are committed to a Biblically orthodox & historic Christian sexual ethic and seek to equip Christian leaders, churches, and organizations to engage questions about faith, sexuality & gender with theological faithfulness and courageous love. We look forward to prayerful and thoughtfully engaging with this topic as we continue to follow Jesus from fear to love. Because of the mature topics being discussed at this event, we are providing childcare for kids 0 - 5th grade. All students middle school age and older are welcome to join us in the auditorium, so long as the parents/guardians are comfortable with the mature content that may be covered during that time.
