We are wrapping our "Organic Gospel" series with the most important truth of all: Jesus Lives! Jesus is risen from the dead and lives today. This is the reason for it all and it is the life changing truth that believers are celebrating around the world this Easter Weekend.
We often think of the Resurrection as a true tale from the past, but it is so much more than that. How can we change our perspective and begin viewing the resurrection as a present-day reality?
The events that took place 3 days after Jesus' death on the Cross seem practically unbelievable. However, there is proof of Jesus' resurrection through eyewitness accounts. Read 1 Corinthians 15:1-20. How do the words of Paul give us confidence in the events surrounding the Resurrection?

1 Corinthians 15:1-20

"Jesus is risen from the dead and lives today". This is the Power of the Gospel. How does the Resurrection make everything about Jesus (His life, the Cross, Christianity) meaningful?
Read Ephesians 1:19-20. What is the significance of this scripture for those of us living today?

Ephesians 1:19-20

Pastor Jonathan used 2 words to describe the impact the Resurrection has on our lives: "Hope" and "Help." What personal experiences can you draw from that show this to be true?
"Deciding to follow Jesus is more than death insurance, it's life assurance" and we have no choice but to respond. Read Romans 6:4. Jesus is Risen and This is the Power. Spend some time in prayer with our Heavenly Father. Reflect on the miracle of the Resurrection and what it means for each and every one of us.

Romans 6:4
