“A better mouse-trap.”

A smarter way to work, or a product or concept that is more advanced than what is currently out there

Humanity doesn’t need a better, more enhanced world; it needs a whole new world.

Jesus had to die (death) for the Old World so that He could usher in (resurrection) the New World.

1. We should be broken-hearted over the Old World.

“While Paul was waiting for them in Athens, he was greatly distressed to see that the city was full of idols.”

2. We should be bridge-builders between the Old World and New World.

“Paul reasoned in the…marketplace…with those who happened to be there. . . . Then they took him and brought him to a meeting of the Areopagus…. Paul then stood up and said: ‘People of Athens! I see that in every way you are very religious. For as I walked around and looked carefully at your objects of worship… .’”

What a bridge-builder ISN’T:
- Someone who AGREES with everything the other person believes or have they behave.
- Someone who APPLAUDS or ACCEPTS behaviors and beliefs that are detrimental to the other person.
- Someone who ASSIMILATES and joins in what the other person does.

What a bridge-builder is:
- Someone driven by God’s love (kind, compassionate)
- Someone aware of the surroundings
- Someone who works towards a cultural intelligence
- Someone who can compliment the good they see
- Someone who can find connecting points
- Someone who can ask good questions

3. We should be bright and bold witnesses declaring and demonstrating the New World.

Bright Witnesses Find an Entry Point.
Paul found it in the “unknown god.”

What is an entry point for Americans?

Our Nation, the [supposedly] New World.
