https://webcgreenville.org/permission/These questions are provided for your further study and application of today’s sermon. Thoughtfully writing out the answers to these questions will help to drive home the truths we are learning.
1. Was there any passage of scripture or statement in the message today that was particularly meaningful or applicable to you?
2. Read 1 Timothy 6:13-16. What is the context of this passage (who is talking to whom about what)? What is the significance of the titles that Paul gives Jesus in verse 15? How does remembering this about Jesus impact our daily lives?
3. Read the account of Pilate interviewing Jesus in John 18:33-38. What is the point Jesus was making vs. 36? Why did King Jesus come, according to verse 37? How did Pilate respond?
4. Read 1 Thessalonians 1:10 and 2 Peter 3:7-9. How do these passages motivate us to share the good news of Jesus with our lost family and friends?
5. We looked at the salvation story of the Thief. Take a moment to remember when you met Jesus and asked Him to remember you. Share it with others.
Giving Online
Giving cheerfully and sacrificially of our finances is part of our worship. (2 Corinthians 9:7; Proverbs 3:9; Malachi 3:10) We thank those who have helped us fulfill our mission and vision, and we ask you to pray that all of the giving to West End Baptist Church would be used to glorify God in carrying out His will as Scripture instructs and the Holy Spirit leads.
