We have heard about over-processed food, but have you ever heard of an "over-processed" faith? Over the years, there has been so much to our faith, that it hardly resembles what Jesus gave us and what the New Testament truly teaches us. It's this realization that has inspired our brand new series, "Organic Gospel". We are going to peel back some layers and remember what it really means to follow Jesus.

The first foundational truth that Pastor Jonathan shared with us is the reminder that "Jesus is God". Read John 1:1,14,18 (NIV) and 1 John 4:9,14. How do these verses show Jesus as God in flesh and bone?

How can we have a relationship with God?

The second foundational truth that Pastor Jonathan shared with us is, "Jesus came to us". This key detail sets Christianity apart from all other religions. What does this say about the character of God?

Has there ever been a time when you have felt God pursuing you for some reason? What were the events leading up to this moment and what happened?

"Jesus is God" and "Jesus came to us". These truths are the foundation of our faith. They shape our perspective and guide our steps. How do they impact the following 3 key areas of your life?

- Our call for a response

Take some reflective time and go to our Heavenly Father in prayer. Ask for Him to peel back the layers that may be clouding your vision and reveal the truth of Jesus.
