After teaching to a large crowd, Jesus knew they needed to eat. There was neither money to buy food nor food to feed this many people. However, Jesus had other plans and provided for this multitude.

After everyone was full, Jesus told His disciples, “Now gather the leftovers, so that nothing is wasted.”

5. Jesus uses the food from a poor, young boy, not a wealthy person or merchant. Why is this significant?

6. Jesus thanked the Father for the provision. How do you include gratitude to God as a part of your daily life?

7. After Jesus multiplied the food, the disciples delivered it to the crowd. Jesus invites us into what He does, just as He did with the disciples. How have you been a part of Jesus’ plans?

8. The crowd wanted to make Jesus king by force. They wanted Jesus to fit into their image of what the Messiah should be. How have you tried to make Jesus fit into your plans?
