What began as a foundation of faith, Blossomed into the flower of love.
Joseph trusted God.
Joseph trusted God.
It's not about who I can get away with not loving, It's about being the person who lives a life of love.
The most natural way to grow in love for God is by personally receiving and enjoying God's love for you.
“The entirety of your life in Christ is about learning to receive love.”
As we learn to receive love from God (and from others), our hearts begin to heal, which allows us to look away from our wounds and begin to love others.
“The Cure”, p 88-91

Learning to receive God's love is the best way to grow in love for Him.
Where do I start?
- Spend time with God, soaking in His love for me.
- Slowly read John’s gospel, chapters 13-21; Meditate on God's blessings from Ephesians 1:1-14; Read books that teach about God’s love (Gentle & Lowly, The Cure) make time to meditate on & enjoy God's love for me.
- Begin praying intentionally for God to help me love the people in my life it's hardest to love, and for clear opportunities to show it.
- Read Joseph's story from Genesis 37-50 as a hopeful example of love for others empowered by faith in God.
- Attend a home group to continue processing these ideas with others.
- Watch “The Chosen” on angel.com, Amazon, or through the Bible App.
