Intimacy is deeply broken in many relationships.
THE POWER OF LOVE: Jesus cared more about her purity than the power to condemn her.

THE PRIORITY OF LOVE IN A MARRIAGE:

It’s the husbands God given role to love with a sacrificial type of love.
THE PURPOSE OF YOUR LOVE

It’s more than skin deep. Husband you love your wife with the DEEPDESIRE TO SEE YOUR BRIDE BECOME HOLY.

It’s a PURIFYING type of Love that desires for God to get the glory and to heal her soul.

YOUR CALLING, YOUR PURPOSE, YOUR GOD-GIVEN MISSION SLEEPS IN YOUR BED!
There’s not a SINGLE PERSON who can or should shepherd your wife soul besides YOU!
Just as you use soap as a means to wash the outside; The Word of God (spiritual soap) is the means “to cleanse” the inside.
The Power of Purity

What a sign off prayer above all prayers; I made you known to those you gave including and above all my spouse and family!
Glory went to God from my spouse! Her life didn’t just touch me and kids her life TOUCHED the KING OF HEAVEN.
Jesus totally set Himself apart to the Father's will so that we maybe set apart to the Father’s will.

JESUS WOULD SET HIMSELF APART TO A CROSS so that we WOULD BE SET APART TO HIM FOR OTHERS.
Talk It Over

1. Reflecting on the message, what resonated with you the most? Regarding the struggles in marriages, such as growing apart or falling out of love what struggles have you seen or experienced the most?

2. Pastor Sean emphasized the power of love in healing broken intimacy within marriages. How do you define intimacy in the context of marriage? How does intimacy relate to struggles you find in most marriages?

3. Ephesians 5:25 emphasizes the husband's role in loving his wife sacrificially and with a “purifying type of love”, mirroring Christ's love for the church. How does this perspective challenge the traditional notions of marriage roles?

4. Pastor Sean said, that husbands top priority is to shepherd their wives' souls, guiding them towards holiness and purity. How do you feel about this concept, and how can it practically manifest in a marriage relationship?

5. Jesus' prayer in John 17 emphasizes sanctification through truth, which parallels the purpose of marriage mentioned in Ephesians 5:25-27. How do you see the connection between truth, sanctification, and intimacy in marriage?

6. Reflecting on the call to come to the altar and pray for repentance, purity, and intimacy, what specific steps can you take in your own marriage to foster a deeper connection with your spouse?

7. How can the principles discussed in the sermon be applied to address specific challenges or conflicts within marriages, such as communication issues or emotional distance?

8. As a group, take a moment to pray for each other's marriages, asking for God's grace, wisdom, and strength to cultivate intimacy, sacrificial love, and purity within each relationship.
