Jesus is not complicated.
(1 Corinthians 2:1 MSG) 'You’ll remember, friends, that when I first came to you to let you in on God’s sheer genius, I didn’t try to impress you with polished speeches and the latest philosophy. I deliberately kept it plain and simple: first Jesus and who he is; then Jesus and what he did—Jesus crucified. '
(1 Corinthians 1:19-20 NLT) ... "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and discard the intelligence of the intelligent." ... God has made the wisdom of this world look foolish.
• Jesus is grace.

(John 19:30 NLT) ........ "It is finished!" Then He bowed his head and released his spirit.

The Man who is Grace completed the greatest act of grace.
(Acts 20:24 NLT) But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus--the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.
• Jesus is fully aware.

(Hebrews 2:17 NLT) Therefore, it was necessary for him to be made in every respect like us, his brothers and sisters,|| so that he could be our merciful and faithful High Priest before God. Then he could offer a sacrifice that would take away the sins of the people.
• He understands life.

(Hebrews 4:15 NIV) For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are--yet he did not sin.
• He understands pain.

(Isaiah 53:3 NIV) He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.

(Isaiah 53:5 NIV) But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.

(Isaiah 53:7 NIV) He was oppressed and afflicted, ...
• Make Jesus your best friend.

(John 15:15 NIV) I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. || Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.
(Hebrews 4:16 NLT) So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.
