Nothing impacts, influences, or determines the quality of our lives like friendships. Our friends will make or break us. We don’t get to choose our family, but we do get to choose our friends; so choose wisely.
God wants to be your friend. Jesus is our Lord, our Savior, and our Friend; Christianity is a relationship with God. Friendship with God becomes the foundation stone for all other friendships. We don’t need everybody to be our friend, but we do need friends. Life is better together; we were created for community.
How do we build true friendships?
We love and honor everyone we meet.
By being friendly to everyone we meet. We need to go out of our way to connect with new people and learn their names.
By being the kind of friend that we want others to be to us, we never expect more from others than we are giving to them.
