Omni is a prefix that means all, every, or the whole.
Omnipresence (1/28/24): We noted how God is not limited or contained by creation in any way.
· He is not subject to time, space, or matter.
· God is transcendent.
· He is not subject to time, space, or matter.
· God is transcendent.
Omnipotence: The wordis derived from two Latin words, omni, meaning all, and potens, which means powerful.
· Omnipotence is a term that is used to indicate God is all powerful.
· You will not find the terms omnipresence, omniscience, or omnipotence in Scripture.
· Omnipotence is a term that is used to indicate God is all powerful.
· You will not find the terms omnipresence, omniscience, or omnipotence in Scripture.
While we do not find the word omnipotence mentioned in the Bible, we do find the word “power” mentioned in relation to God.
Almighty: God is all mighty!
God is all powerful. He is all mighty. There is nothing that is too hard for Him.
Nothing is impossible for God.
While God is all powerful, because He is almighty, because nothing is too hard for Him to do, because nothing is impossible for Him, does that mean there is absolutely nothing He cannot do? The answer to this is yes and no.
· No: God does not lack the power to do what He desires.
· Yes: The one thing God cannot do is anything contrary to who He is.
· No: God does not lack the power to do what He desires.
· Yes: The one thing God cannot do is anything contrary to who He is.
Because God is all powerful, He has not only the ability but the authority to rule over all that is. We call this “sovereignty.”
Omniscience: This means God is all-knowing.
· He possesses perfect knowledge.
· God knows Himself perfectly, as well as all things—actual and potential.
· He possesses perfect knowledge.
· God knows Himself perfectly, as well as all things—actual and potential.
“Our definition of God's knowledge speaks of God knowing everything in one "simple act.”
God cannot learn.
God knows all things actually, and He knows all potentials.
· To know all there is to know and to know all potentials, one would have to be transcendent.
· God knows all that is actual and all that is potential for He is the Grand Designer.
· The same holds true for our will. God alone knows what it can or cannot do.
· To know all there is to know and to know all potentials, one would have to be transcendent.
· God knows all that is actual and all that is potential for He is the Grand Designer.
· The same holds true for our will. God alone knows what it can or cannot do.
The future is the successions of moments that have not yet happened (as far as we are concerned). Everything and everyone (including the future) is bound by time (and space, and matter). God is not.
Because of God’s very nature, all that is knowable, whether actual or potential, is always fully present in his consciousness.
God perfectly knows Himself and, being the source and author of all things, it follows that He knows all that can be known. And this He knows instantly and with a fullness of perfection that includes every possible item of knowledge concerning everything that exists or could have existed anywhere in the universe at any time in the past or that may exist in the centuries or ages yet unborn. ~Tozer
Incommunicable vs. Communicable Attributes:
· Incommunicable attributes are those attributes that are exclusive to Him. They are exclusively divinity.
· Communicable attributes are those God allows humans to possess (to a finite degree).
· Incommunicable attributes are those attributes that are exclusive to Him. They are exclusively divinity.
· Communicable attributes are those God allows humans to possess (to a finite degree).

Inclement Weather
If we need to cancel church activities, we will communicate closures via email, text, phone, and on our Facebook page. Information may also be communicated on tv through WWMT (channel 3), WoodTV (channel 8), and Fox 17 (channel 17), but the other methods will be our first priority. If you are not receiving communication in one of these ways, please contact the church office.
Have You Considered?
Did you know that if your bank offers online services, you can set your tithe up as a regular ‘bill payment’ through your bank? This is a convenient option to help with continuity in giving and the ability for you to tithe even when you are on vacation or miss church. It eliminates having to wonder if you turned in your offering while you were gone! If you have questions or would like more information about how to utilize this convenient option, check with your banking institution or contact the church office.
Pop Cans = Scholarships
Don’t forget that your beverage can & bottle donations are used to fund teen scholarships for youth retreats, summer camps, special activities, etc. Please bring your recyclable items to the church anytime!

· Ginny Dorsey (Rhonda Dobberstein's mom) · is still in the hospital on the rehab floor as she is not ready to be home yet. Her husband Jim also took a fall last week and is barely walking by himself, so not having her return home yet is a blessing while they both continue to recover.
· Zach & Laura Tate upon the birth of their twins Natalie (7 lbs.) and Samuel (6.8 lbs.).
· Vincent Bryant (son of Miriam Bryant) is recovering from a second surgery on his left hand after an infection which resulted in one finger being amputated. He is also having issues with an ankle which is preventing him from driving. As a result, Miriam is transporting him to dialysis three days a week.
· Miriam Bryant has begun therapy for hip issues.
· Pete Danapilis is recovering from cataract surgery on his second eye.
· Nolan Marshall recently scored well on a CAFAS evaluation, but then took a sharp turn for the worse after testing. Because he got a great score, he is now below the threshold and is in danger of losing services. Even though he still has a severe impairment score, only the worst of the worst qualify. In addition, his wraparound coordinator is moving to a new position, and they will have to deal with a new person to advocate for him to keep these services. Please keep the Marshall family in prayer as they navigate through these issues.
· Anna Bocock’s Lyme tests came back that she has Epstein Barr in addition to one strain of Lyme. They are not able to treat the Lyme until the Epstein Barr is under control. She is currently very sick and is not responding to the treatments for the Epstein Barr. Pray that the treatments start working and she is able to get that under control so that she can move forward with the Lyme treatment within the next few months. .
· Caroline Bocock is doing much better! She passed her concussion test after a year of failing and has been approved to do anything she wishes. She will have more Lyme testing later this month, but the symptoms have almost completely disappeared since her treatment in July. Pray for continued improvements and for clear test results so she doesn’t have to do anymore treatments.
· Rhonda Dobberstein hs been diagnosed with breast cancer. She has a lumpectomy scheduled for 2/13 followed by radiation and estrogen treatments.
· Joyce Bocock continues to do well. Prayers for continued improvement and relief from pain are appreciated.
· Check out our monthly prayer card on-line at southhavenfbc.com under “Weekly Bulletins” for a list of those with on-going needs.
