Talk It Over

1. Review the message and first read Judges 7 and 8. What stood out to you the most about the chapter and the message? What was God saying to you? What confirmed your walk with God? What challenged your walk with God

2. As you read the last half of Judges 7, think about the step into the battle that Gideon took. What battle is God calling you to fight? What is holding you back if you haven’t jumped into the fight?

3. In your life what is a battle or relationship that you need to continue to fight for?

4. Gideon had people from his own nation/family not help him complete his mission? How do you fight the battle to give up when those closest to you are holding you back from the things God wants for you?

5. God blesses Gideon with success because of the faith that Gideon showed. Can you remember a time God has blessed you because you trusted Him?

6. God wants to use the victories and gifts He has blessed us with to help the next generation. Who can help teach/mentor to grow in their walk with the Lord? What in your life do you think would be an encouragement to them to pick their sword and fight?

7. Spend time in prayer and meet God with your worship. He is waiting for you and will meet you today right on the battlefield.
