💡 The Early Church Modeled Radical Devotion To The LOST, The LEAST, And The LONELY.
1. REPENT For Devaluing Others.
2. Acknowledge Our Common BROKENNESS.
3. Treat EVERYONE Like You Would Treat Jesus.
● The student sitting in a dark room struggling with mental health.-- Image Bearer of God
● The mom crying in the shower after yelling at her kids again.
● The individual unable to move forward in healthy relationships with others and with God because of a pornography addiction.
● The couple going deeper and deeper into debt trying to satisfy a longing that material things could never fill.
● The young adult partying to distract from a lack of purpose.
● The homeless man begging for money.
● The mother who succumbs to her addiction and can’t care for her children.
● The undocumented immigrant working illegally on a farm down the street.
The person who votes differently than you.
4. Be DEVOTED To Radically Valuing All People.
📚 DEVOTED (dfn): to persevere and not faint, to continue without quitting, to be constantly diligent; a commitment that is not easily broken
💡 Our DEVOTION TO GOD Must Translate To COMPASSION TOWARD PEOPLE.
