What is “The Seed”?
------------
- The Word of the Kingdom (Mt) / The Word (Mk) / The Word of God (Lk)
- Saying the seed is only the gospel as we know it today is too narrow of a view of what Jesus had in mind.

Four ways people will respond when the word of the Lord is proclaimed:
------------
1) Immediate rejection, complete resistance, not received and no interest (v 18-19).
2) Eventual rejection due to shallow soil (v 20-21).
3) Because of competition with other cares and the word of the Lord get's choked out (v 22).
4) When message of the kingdom is meet with eagerness, receptiveness and willingness an abundant crop will result (v 23).
