God's Word is:
• Breathed out by him
God's Word is:
• Breathed out by him
• Enduring
God's Word is:
• Breathed out by him
• Enduring
• Living and active
God's Word is:
• Breathed out by him
• Enduring
• Living and active
• The Spirit's sword
Ways of rejection:
• We primarily display it
• Learn it but don't do it
“When we hear the gospel word, we are opened up to the Word of God. We’re subjected to God’s Word reading us. We sit underneath it, and from the moment of our hearing, it rules us.”

Matt Chandler
Ways of rejection:
• We primarily display it
• Learn it but don't do it
• Not putting the Word in its proper place
• Letting others do all the work
The power of His Word
• Helps keep a way pure (Psalm 119:9)
• Helps fight against sin (vs 11)
• Gives counsel (vs 24)
• Gives life (vs 25)
• Grants strength (vs 28)
• Confirms His promises (vs 38)
• Conduit for his steadfast love and salvation (vs 41) meaning it shows it
communicates it and leads us to it.
• Gives an answer when taunted vs 42. In other words when the world
mocks you for faith or for particular ways of living it gives you and
anchor to hold to answer back.
• Gives hope (vs 49)
• Gives comfort in affliction (vs 50)
• Insights praise (vs 62)
• Teaches good judgement and knowledge (vs 66)
• Grants wisdom (vs 98)
• Guides our path (vs 105)
• Shows us his testimonies (his work) vs 111. He is telling us all the ways
he has been involved in the world because sometimes it can be hard to
see especially since our perspective and lense is so small considering
the scope of what he is doing.
• Gives truth (vs 160)
• It exhorts (1 Timothy 4:13)
• It teaches (1 Timothy 4:13)
• It reproves (2 Timothy 3:16)
• It trains for righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16)

Give Online

Church family, we praise God for how faithfully in so many respects you give. Our church family is undeniably generous, but we still have great needs for supplication. We ask that you give joyfully, faithfully and sacrificially in response to how our great God and Savior has given to us.
