Are you wanting to grow in your Spiritual journey?

Would you like to get to know others better? The River Church is committed to helping others grow in their faith and developing deeper connections with others. Our small groups are a great way to do this. We have groups for all ages and stages of life. They meet at different days and times to help provide an opportunity that can fit your schedule.

We are looking to grow our groups. If you are interested in joining a new group in 2023 please contact Leslie Stone, our Director of Small Groups & Connections at leslie@hittheriver.com

Upcoming Events

January 1st - Daniel Fast begins
The Daniel Fast is a spiritual discipline designed to better connect us with God. We'll be starting January 1 and are challenging people to fast for either 7, 14, or 21 days. We are using this time to deepen our relationship with God and center ourselves around what God is going to do in our church and in our lives during this time.

January 2nd - Ladies Bible Study on Joel
Join us for Women’s Bible study on Tuesday afternoons starting on January 2nd from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. We will be studying the book of Joel. If you have any questions please feel free to email Edna Woodrick at edna.woodrick@gmail.com. Register at HitTheRiver.com/Events.

January 9th - UnDeck the halls
We will be taking down the Christmas decor and getting the Worship Center put back in order. If you are available and would like to help out, join us at 9:30 a.m.

January 14th, 21st, & 28th - River 101
Interested in learning more about The River Church? Tim Snyder will be teaching this three week class here at The River Church starting Sunday, January 14th. The classes will take place downstairs in the community room during the 9:30 am service and will be on January 14th, 21st, & 28th. This is a great way to learn what we believe, how we operate, and where we’re heading. If you are interested in membership, the class is a prerequisite. Register at HitTheRiver.com/Events.

2024 New Year's Resolutions

1.Don’t only get your news from Twitter ….. try Facebook
2.Do so much yoga that it actually justifies wearing yoga pants 24/7
3.Take more time off ….. It’s a no-brainer
4.Use the phrase “It’s a no-brainer” more often
5.Be ok with having to make more than one trip from the car to bring in the groceries
6.Actually, put on a full outfit for Zoom calls
7.Read more (or at least turn the subtitles on while watching tv)
8.Discover once and for all why it takes three attempts to plug in a USB cable
9.Make yourself only buy what you came for on your next trip to Costco
10.Stop referring to Autumn as Pumpkin Spice Latte Season
11.Manage to go the entire year without accidentally telling someone random on the phone “Love You” as the call ends
12.Stop Googling symptoms
