Dangerously distant and spiritually underprepared

1. They were biased
2. It was illegal to hold capital punishment trials at night.
3.You have to sleep on capital punishment decisions.
4. Witnesses should come before the trial

Jesus was faithful and was faithfully prepared.

2. PETER'S UNFAITHFUL DENIALS.

His failure to prepare has led to increasing unfaithfulness and sinful moral failure.

James says it starts with a desire, grows into sin and results in death.
