We all want Joy! However, one truth about joy that we often overlook, is that as we spread it, we experience it. And that is what we are going to be focusing on this week as we conclude our Joy to the World series.

Ice Breaker: How is JOY contagious!

A big part of Joy is sharing it! The Shepherds in Bethlehem are a beautiful example of this. Read Luke Luke 2:17,20. How does this scripture illustrate the Joy that the shepherds were feeling at that moment? How did their joy spread to others?

Pastor Jonathan reminded us that "God’s people are people of Joy". While this may seem obvious, we don't always live it out. In what ways do you see Followers of Jesus losing focus of the Joy that comes along with knowing Him? What can we learn from 1st-century Christians?

Jesus is the ultimate 'Joy-bringer' and we are here to join Him. Read John 15:9-12. What does Jesus command of us? How does this command spread joy to the hearts of others and back to us?

Joy; As we spread it, we experience it! This Christmas let's join Jesus in bringing His joy to others. Take some time and pray to our Heavenly Father. Ask Him to reveal ways that you can share Joy with others during this season.
