An Invitation From the FMCIC National Prayer Team The FMCIC senses the Lord is stirring up a spirit of prayer in us and we do not want to neglect this gift. So, you are invited to join us for 12-noon to 12:30 pm, Eastern Time, 6-days-a-week (Monday to Saturday), prayer meetings, until the end of December. These prayer meetings are open to anyone who would like to join in prayer for the FMCIC and Canada.

The Sweetest Things: Dress Rehearsal A reminder that on Sunday, December 3rd, immediately after the service, the children and youth in the Christmas Production will be having their lunch in the KIDZONE area followed by an extended practice in the Sanctuary until about 2:00 p.m. Parents, please have them bring their lunch. Waiting family members can eat/visit in the Evergreen Hall or Cafe/Fireside Lounge. Also, if you are in Amy’s dance group, please check in at the Welcome Desk before 10:00 a.m. and join us in the Evergreen Hall for an extra practice prior to being dismissed downstairs.

Blue Christmas Service If you've lost a loved one & are experiencing grief, please join us at Arlington Woods Free Methodist Church on Tuesday, December 5th from 7:00-9:00p.m. for our first ever Blue Christmas Service (sponsored by Tubman Funeral Homes). Throughout the course of the evening we will come together to acknowledge and find solace in the somber aspects of the holiday season, offering a space for reflection, hope and healing amidst the Christmas Season. Begin Your Advent With Renew Arts and Theology On December 6th, Renew Arts & Theology is inviting all artists (visual, drama, dance, music, literary) to come to Arlington Woods Church and begin the season together. The evening will be from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and include a time to share any projects that you are currently working on, pray together, eat some festive snacks, desserts and do a visio divina together. The Sweetest Things: Christmas Production 2023 All ages are welcome to join us on Sunday, December 17th at 10am for our kids and teens Christmas production, "The Sweetest Things". The Sweetest Things Streaming Series is in trouble this year. The special guest they had hoped for has changed and well, that could change everything. We won’t sugar-coat it, this could be a disaster but with a little buttering up, the season may turn out dairy, oops, Merry after all!

Christmas Eve At Arlington Woods Join us on Sunday, December 24th at 10:00 a.m. for our regular Sunday service and then in the evening at 6:00 p.m. for Christmas Eve Candlelight service. This is always a very special and meaningful time for our church and community!

Parents of Preschoolers (POP) restarts on Monday, Sept. 18 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. We invite you to attend POP with your preschoolers and help our church connect with our community. Visit

Christmas Production 2023 We would love to prepare a Christmas production this year. However, we need to know how many children and/or youth would be interested. Our rehearsals would be during Kidzone on Sunday mornings in November and December and as the time gets closer immediately after service in the sanctuary for about an hour.
