NEW TO REAL LIFE?

Looking to get connected? Have questions?
https://reallifechurchkc.com/new
JESUS GIVES US THE BIGGEST OBSTACLE TO LOVING AND GIVING TO GOD.
MONEY IS IN DIRECT COMPETITION FOR YOUR THE SOURCE OF YOUR SECURITY.
IT'S ALL ABOUT LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!

.
If your mind, heart, and plans aren’t found dreaming about Heavenly, it's because you've invested in it here on Earth
Your generosity is evidence if your heart is full of light or full of darkness.

Generosity is literally in the eye of the beholder.
Either you are possessed by your money or you are possessed by God!
When we are cheap with God, it's not because we can't afford it, it's because we are obedient and a slave to the wrong master.
HERE'S THE WORRY: HOW CAN I GIVE WHEN I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH?
If God provides for these lesser birds, why wouldn’t God even more for you?
Why not trust financially in the one who actually does determines the length of our life?
Why do we think any amount of income, luxury or opulence will bring you any grandeur or magnificence, or be more impressive than a simple flower?
Ultimately your giving is a reflection and evidence of your faith.

When should you start giving to God? The answer is first and now.
The world's economy is to run to the illusion of safety and security found in stuff. God's economy is to run to the plans, provision, and power of one who already knows what we need and can give any-miracle any-day, at any-time.

YOU'VE GOT DIRECT DEPOSIT FROM HEAVEN!

You can be generous today, because God holds all your tomorrows.
Many of God's greatest blessings are lying behind the devil's scarecrow of the fear of not having enough.
The devils knows if your heart can’t trust God to give him his own money back, then you will stay a safe distance away from God’s greatest blessings.

Talk It Over

1. Review the message and first read the Sermon on the Mount Matthew 5-7. What stood out to you the most about the chapter and the message? What was God saying to you? What confirmed your walk with God? What challenged your walk with God

2. Matthew 6:19-21, says, “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” In other words, it’s all about location, location, location. Where do you find yourself storing your treasurer? What does storing your treasurer in Heaven look like and why is it important?

3. Matthew 6:22-23 says, “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy (generous), your whole body will be full of light. 23But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!” Pastor Sean said, Your generosity is evidence if your heart is full of light or full of darkness - that literally generosity in the eye of the beholder. Would you say your eye is more generous or more unhealthy when it comes to generosity and why? What does a healthy eye see that a diseased eye overlooks?

4. Matthew 6:24 says, “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.” Would you say you are more possessed by your money or that you are possessed by God and why? Respond to this quote, "When we are cheap with God, it's not because we can't afford it, it's because we are obedient and a slave to the wrong master.”

5. The world's economy is to run to the illusion of safety and security found in stuff. God's economy is to run to the plans, provision, and power of one who already knows what we need and can give any-miracle any-day, at any-time. Matthew 6:31-32 says "So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.” Rate how much worry effects your generosity on a scale of red, orange, yellow, or green. What truth of God helps you to be generous and obedient to Him?

6. You can be generous today, because God holds all your tomorrows. Matthew 6:33 says, "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Respond this quote from Pastor Sean: “Many of God's greatest blessings are lying behind the devil's scarecrows. The devils knows if your heart can’t trust God to give him his own money back, then you will stay a safe distance away from God’s greatest blessings.” What are the blessing behind the fear of giving? Why do you think the Devil wants you to stay out?

7. Pray and ask God what to give. Say, “Yes Lord!" and give.
