Home Group/Study Questions
These questions are provided for your further study and application of today’s sermon. Thoughtfully writing out the answers to these questions will help to drive home the truths we are learning.
1. Was there any passage of scripture or statement in the message today that was particularly meaningful or applicable to you?
2. Read Luke 24:13-32. What events had just taken place? What is the significance of verse 27? How can seeing the prophecies about the Messiah being fulfilled in Jesus cause your “heart to burn within you?”
3. Read Matthew 1:18 – 2:23. How many times does Matthew point to Jesus’ birth as the fulfillment of prophecies? What point is Matthew making with these references? Why does this matter to us today?
4. Read Isaiah 42:8-9 and Isaiah 46:9-10. What is God revealing about Himself in these (and many other) passages? How do these truths demonstrate God’s power and faithfulness?
5. It’s the Christmas Season. How can you keep your mind and heart focused on the miracle of Jesus’ birth, and the wonder of God’s grace and love?

Giving Online
Giving cheerfully and sacrificially of our finances is part of our worship. (2 Corinthians 9:7; Proverbs 3:9; Malachi 3:10)
We thank those who have helped us fulfill our mission and vision, and we ask you to pray that all of the giving to West End Baptist Church would be used to glorify God in carrying out His will as Scripture instructs and the Holy Spirit leads.
