Framing Your World By Faith

Introduction

For a few moments this morning we will be discussing the subject of faith. If you are a born-again, child of God you are called to live this life of faith – to live by faith, we stand by faith, we walk by faith and not by sight, we obtain victory by faith, we have a shield of faith, we FIGHT the good Fight of Faith. It’s not just believing – it’s speaking too.

A. Now Faith is…

a. Faith is Always Now – if it’s not now – it’s not faith.
b. Faith is THE SUBSTANCE of things…hoped for or desired.
c. Faith is how the Elders obtained a good report.

B. Through Faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

a. God framed the world with His Words.
b. It was through the words He spoke that creation came into existence.
c. There was nothing created without words.
d. All things were made by words.

C. How did God create this world and bring it into existence?

a. He spoke Faith-filled words – “Light be…”
b. Words are spiritual containers.
c. Words can be filled with love or hate, blessing or cursing, life or death.

D. What’s in Your Beginning?

a. The beginning of your day. How are you starting your day?

b. The beginning of your new relationship.

c. The beginning of this new business venture.

d. We are facing many challenges in our lives – personally and
professionally because we are not starting with God and His Word.

e. The Word of God is the building material to frame your world, your business, your marriage, your family, your finances, your relationships, your career, your physical health, your mental health.

E. What does it mean to Frame Your World By Faith?

a. Frame (Hebrews 11:3) – Original Greek Text - (Katartidzo) – means to “mend what has been broken; adjust to repair, to complete, to put in order, to strengthen, to make one what he ought to be.”

b. Framing Your World By Faith is allowing God’s Word to become the Building Material for Every Area of your Life.

F. The Word of God Will Make You into the Person that God originally designed for you to be.

Locate Your Confirmation

POINT 2: Deposit the Word of God into your heart.

Dwell – to live or stay as a permanent resident.

Richly – abundantly, totally, completely

Your Heart is the depository for God’s Word

How Do I Deposit God’s Word into my Heart?

1. Give Attention to the Word

2. Meditate on the Word

3. Hear the Word
