THIS WEEK'S TAKEAWAYS

Key Theme:
Prayer in suffering and weakness and praise birthed from encouragement of God’s work, presence, and character are key marks of a believer.

Key Application:
If you find your self in weakness (physically, emotionally, or spiritually) call upon spiritual leaders for prayer and watch for how God moves.

Key Verse:
James 5:14 “Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.”

Key Questions:
1. What keeps you from going to God in prayer, alone or with others?

2. List out areas or seasons of your life that you see weakness. This may be physical, such as an illness, or spiritual such as discouragement, or emotional such as sadness.

3. Take heart!!! How have you seen God encourage you, move or show himself present in difficult seasons? Give him praise if it isn’t singing tell someone about that time.
Resources for today’s sermon are available upon request in the church office.

Give Online

Church family, we praise God for how faithfully in so many respects you give. Our church family is undeniably generous, but we still have great needs for supplication. We ask that you give joyfully, faithfully and sacrificially in response to how our great God and Savior has given to us.
