- Explanation - we are the circumcision
- Worship by the Spirit
- Boast in Christ Jesus
- Do not put confidence in the flesh

What we don’t do
- Righteous does not come by…

- Rituals - circumcised the eighth day
- Ethnicity - nation of Israel
- Rank - Tribe of Benjamin
- Tradition - Hebrew of Hebrews
- Rule Keeping - regarding the law, a Pharisee
- Zeal - persecution the church
- Obedience to the law - blameless

- What was a gain, is now a considered a loss
- All is a loss in view of the surpassing values of knowing Christ Jesus as Lord
- All that Paul mentioned he considers dung (strong word), that he may gain Christ

- Righteousness is not found in what you do, it’s found in Christ
- Have the right perspective
- We work in response to what has already happened
- Righteousness is based on faith

The process
- Justification - know the power of his resurrection
- Sanctification - the fellowship of his sufferings
- Glorification - Somehow reach the resurrection from among the dead
