Three biblical categories of imagination

1. There are some things the Bible says we should not imagine.
2. Then there are some things we cannot imagine because our brains aren’t big enough.
3. Then there are some things that we should imagine.

1 John 3:2
Yes, dear friends, we are already God's children, and we can't even imagine what we will be like when Christ returns. But we do know that when he comes we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is.

Philippians 4:8 NIV84
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable---if anything is excellent or praiseworthy---think about such things.
4 Truth Regarding A God-inspired Imagination.

Truth #1: My imagination shapes my life.

Proverb 23:7

Truth #2: Great lives are built around great dreams.

Proverb 28:18
Where there is no vision, the people perish...
Truth #3: God’s dream for my life is bigger than my dream.

Ephesians 3:20 MSG
God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us. Glory to God in the church! Glory to God in the Messiah, in Jesus! Glory down all the generations! Glory through all millennia! Oh, yes!
Truth #4: If a dream is from God, it will be connected somehow to His Church & Plan for the World.
