We are continuing our discussions about relationships as we step into week 4 of our series called "The Perfect Family". This week we are talking about the ever-changing seasons of life.
Read the words of King Solomon in Ecclesiastes 3:1. How have you seen the seasons of your life change over time? How have these changes impacted the relationships with the people in your life?

Ecclesiastes 3:1

In the context of relationships, this is very important. We know that there will be ups and downs in our relationships. Read Ephesians 5:15-17. How can you make the most of the opportunities that you have right now?

Ephesians 5:15-17

Pastor Jonathan said, "All seasons have reasons". We have to savor the seasons by maximizing the moments. Sometimes we can celebrate and enjoy the moments, but sometimes we have to hold on and endure them. How can you use the following 3 filters to help maximize the moments you are in right now?
1.) Be Honest: Name it and admit it
2.) Be Grateful: It's all a gift
3.) Be Present: Engage with the season you are in
Life is seasonal; there is a beginning, middle, and end. Pastor Jonathan provided 3 questions we can ask ourselves when evaluating our ever-changing seasons of life. How do these 3 questions help shape your perspective of the season you are currently in? How can you incorporate these questions in the seasons to come?
1) What do I need to believe?
2) What do I need to say/do?
3) How do I need to love?
In many ways, we may not realize that these are the good old days. Take some time to reflect on your season of life. Ask our Heavenly Father to reveal what He is trying to teach you and the directions you need to go from here. Ask for His help embracing and enjoying the good and enduring the pain of difficult seasons. No matter the season, He is with you!
