WHAT'S GOING ON AROUND FAIRFIELD
There are a lot of summer events coming up! Make sure you check out the EVENTS PAGE on our website (fairfieldbaptistchurch.com/events). It is regularly updated with new details, so check often! Here are a few of the upcoming events:
FAIRFIELD ON MISSION
Sunday, September 17 | 12:15PM
(Immediately following service in auditorium)
We want to see where God would direct us to be on mission with God. Join us this Sunday in the auditorium immediately following service for a quick introduction/explanation of what this means, vision casting, and prayer time. We promise… you won’t miss your lunch! Learn more on our website: https://www.fairfieldbaptistchurch.com/events.html
HEAR THE GLORY
Monday, September 18 | 7:00PM | Matthew Knight Arena
Invite someone with you this Monday evening to hear stories from athletes that point people to Jesus. One of those athletes shared her story at Bushnell's chapel this past week. Our own Doyle Srader had this to say: "The speaker was Nicola Olyslagers, who took silver in high jump at the Olympics. She’s in town for the Prefontaine Classic... Parts of it gave me good chills. She also mentioned this upcoming event, Monday the 18th. Admission is free, and she rightly mentioned that it’s a good thing to invite someone to who’d never feel comfortable in a church."
