INVASION OF THE LIGHT WALKERS
Titus 2:11 (KJV)
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
We have been given the freedom:
a. to live above the power of the flesh
b. exercise dominion over satan
Grace is divine assistance
a. given by God
b, to help you heal
c. or overcome
d. and to make you whole and healthy
Grace is a gift God gives you.
This was given if you are born again.
Sadly, some folks still have problems:
a. with their flesh
b influences from devils
Any are in your life where you:
a. still straggle
b have difficulty getting over
Is an open door to rob you of the benefits of salvation.
Any area in your life that still can hurt you
a. when you think about it
b. is in need of healing
How does grace work?
Titus 2:12 (KJV)
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
Grace is a teacher!
Grace teaches you to:
Denying:
1) ungodliness - doing things without thinking how it would affect God’s heart
a. making decisions based upon fleshly desires
2) worldly lusts - sinful pleasures
a. doing things that grieve the Holy Spirit
b. by ignoring His convictions
Living:
3) soberly - making wise choices
a, based off of the Word
b. or the leading of the Holy Spirit
4) righteously - having good morals
a. you don’t do what the world does
5) godly - your life is devoted to God
a. not getting your way all the time
...in this present world
Titus 2:13 (KJV)
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
From now on until the rapture.
God’s grace at work in us :
a. will teach us to a live
b. in a manner that produces good works
c. that follow salvation
Eph. 5:8
For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light–
There should be changes in your lifestyle.
Eph. 5:9
for the fruit of the light results in all goodness, righteousness, and truth
LIGHT WALKERS bear fruit:
1) goodness - kind to others
2) righteousness - has morals
3) truth - their decision maker is now
a. God’s Word
b. not their flesh or feelings
Eph. 5:10
discerning what is pleasing to the Lord.
Their motive is to be a God pleaser.
Eph. 5:11
Don't participate in the fruitless works of darkness, but instead, expose them.
They take a stand for truth.
Notice that a LIGHT WALKERS:
a. lifestyle
b and good works
c, sets them apart from the unbeliever
A LIGHT WALKERS life
a. exposes the sinful nature
b. convicts the ungodly character
c. of those still trapped
d. in the ways of the world
1 John 1:7 (KJV)
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
