The Relational Soul
I. Seek wisdom

James 1:5

James 1:6

II. Mistrust turn to trust

1 Samuel 26:24

III. Surrender and relinquish

Job 40:8

Key Theme:
We must lean into God amidst trials that come our way, trusting Him to form us into people after His likeness.

Key Application:
In light of our afflictions we should seek wisdom, trusting God, ready to surrender to His plan for us and others.

Key Verse:
James 1:5 “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.”

Key Questions:
1. Consider ways that you have been shaped by past afflictions and trials.

2. Have you surrendered those fully to the Lord?

3. Write down and thank God for the ways that he has shown Himself faithful to form you through trials you have experienced. How has your faith deepend?
Resources for today’s sermon are available upon request in the church office.

Give Online

Church family, we praise God for how faithfully in so many respects you give. Our church family is undeniably generous, but we still have great needs for supplication. We ask that you give joyfully, faithfully and sacrificially in response to how our great God and Savior has given to us.
