When feelings of discouragement and inferiority grip us, remember what is true about God to build the courage to face our battles.

God doesn’t see us only for what we are but for what we can become.

There is a big difference between a cry for help and a cry of repentance.

“You have not listened to me” — God (Judges 6:10)

Gideon’s Three Skeptical Responses to God:
a. Why is this happening?
b. How can I do that?
c. Prove yourself.

God sees our possibilities when coupled with His presence.

Discouragement
Inadequacy

Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God.

God-based-confidence is undefeatable.

And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
