WELCOME

We are so gald you joined us today. Pax is a non-denominational church that exists to live and share the gospel of peace. (Romans 5:1-11)

Our vision is that everyone would find peace with God through Jesus Christ and become peacemakers who advance the kingdom of God.

PEACE WITH GOD. FOR EVERYONE. THROUGH CHRIST.

BUILDING CELEBRATION AUG 20 @5pm!

YOU'RE INVITED TO JOIN US FOR DINNER AND CELEBRATION!

We are so deeply thankful for your prayers, financial support, and service and we want to celebrate and share what God has done!

We will have dinner together, and thank some key people that made this move happen. We also want to share stories of what God has done in providing this building, and what He has done and continues to do in our lives as we live and share the gospel of peace.
How do we find the faith to trust that God will come through?
Moses knows what God can do, and he trusts what God would do.

WHEN WE REMEMBER WHAT GOD CAN DO, WE TRUST WHAT GOD WILL DO.
MOSES KNEW WHAT GOD COULD DO, AND HE TRUSTED WHAT GOD WOULD DO--AND SO DO THE ISRAELITES

God commanded them to remember what he did with a ceremony or feast when they enter the promise land—and they do, its called the Passover feast.

Passover was and is meant to serve as a reminder of what God has done, so that the people will trust in what God can and will do.

Then one night, Jesus changes it.
Jesus gives the most important elements of the passover new meaning.

Jesus gives new meaning to:
the wine
the bread
and ultimately the lamb
MOSES REMEMBERED. ISREAL REMEMBERED. WE ARE CALLED TO REMEMBER TOO.
REMEMBERING WHAT GOD CAN DO GIVES US FAITH FOR WHAT GOD WILL DO

When we participate in the Lord’s super, communion, we remember:
what Jesus has done for us and we look forward to what is still to come.
Today, we receive communion in faith. We remember what God did, and we trust in what he can and will do.

Take a few moments this morning in prayer to remember what God has done for you. Ask God to remind you of the good things he has done in your life.

COMMUNION

The bread represents the body of Christ.
The juice/cup represents the blood of Christ.
